This privacy policy applies when you visit the AIready website, request a scan or report, buy a product, join our newsletter, submit an enquiry or otherwise interact with us. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide directly, including your name, email address, business name, website address, competitor websites, enquiry details and product selections.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as your device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed and how you use our website. When we assess a website, we may collect information that is publicly available on that website and from other public online sources.
3. Payment information
Payments may be processed by a specialist payment provider such as Stripe. We do not intend to store your complete card details. Payment providers process that information under their own privacy terms.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide scans, comparisons, reports and consulting services; process purchases; respond to enquiries; improve our products; maintain the security of our services; meet legal obligations; and send marketing communications where you have asked to receive them.
We will only use personal information for the purpose for which it was collected, a directly related purpose, or another purpose permitted by law.
5. Automated scans and AI reports
Our digital products use automated systems and third-party AI services to analyse websites and generate results. Information supplied for a scan, including website addresses, business details and buying questions, may be processed by those service providers to produce your report.
Reports are point-in-time assessments. AI platforms, public information and website content can change, so the results may also change. We do not use report findings to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.
7. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember preferences, understand site performance and improve our services. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website works.
8. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure. No internet service is completely secure, but we review our safeguards as our services develop.
We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide our services, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting obligations.
